Althea Gibson Illustration / Tennis Art Print
This is a print of my illustration of Althea Gibson, the first black tennis player to win a Grand Slam title (French Open), Wimbledon and the US Nationals (US Open) singles title. She's considered to be one of the greatest tennis players in history.
Using photographs as reference, I illustrated this digitally using Adobe Photoshop and my trusty Wacom drawing tablet. I print it here at my home studio and it currently comes in three print sizes: 5 x 7 inch (12.7 x 17.8 cm), 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm). Every size is on bright white, medium weight paper.
This is the perfect small gift for the Althea Gibson fan, the tennis enthusiast, or the person who just wants a piece of Black history art to put on their wall.
