I watched the movie "What Happened, Miss Simone?" on Netflix not too long ago. It was SO good. Everyone should watch it. She was amazingly talented.

Today when I went to the supermarket, they had a Thanksgiving display in the greeting card section. THANKSGIVING. It's not even September yet! *rolls eyes*

This morning I read an article about how Olga's Diner is going to be torn down and redeveloped into medical offices. The diner was a South Jersey staple and trademark in its heyday. I get that it's abandoned and in bad shape now, but I wish the diner and its old neon signage could be revitalized.

Had no idea it was supposed to rain today, lol. The sky was pretty cool though!

Today I realized how beautiful the PO boxes are at my local post office. I'm not exactly sure how old they are, but I'm glad the postal service hasn't changed them to the modern PO boxes.

I didn't realize how borderline rural it was in the area around my neighborhood until I did this color study. This is my favorite so far!
