Just a girl, her dog, and her guitar. This was inspired by Sunny Colvin, Toni Braxton, summer sunsets, carefree Black girls, and my yellow lab Markie who passed in 2021.
This was one of my first personal illustrations back in 2017. This is also the illustration that caught the eye of my first agent, James. Thanks to this illustration, I signed on with The Bright Agency that same year, and I've been illustrating professionally ever since.
